This week on The Couch I fell down the rabbit hole of an exciting world filled with darkness, witches, boggarts, and general nastiness in Joseph Delaney’s The Spook’s Apprentice.

Meeting the book’s protagonist, Tom, I was wrapped up in an adventure like no other as I read all about the boy’s leaving home, becoming employed (retrospectively), and learning to deal with the creatures from the dark that occasionally run rampant across the County.
